Fun Friday - Coloring with Michelle Houghton, Certified Copic Instructor

Youtube has a lot of information available to us as crafters. 

One of the many videos you can find is Copic Coloring.  

Michelle Houghton, a certified Copic Instructor, has been teaching classes for sometime.

We would like to share a video she shared on Youtube, teaching basic Copic Blending, hoping this would inspire you to color up this image too!

however, it is easy to change out these colors to what you already have.

Under the Sea

Hello Sami Stamps fans!  Rae Ann here to bring you this week's Fun Friday post.  I am using one of the newest releases, Roses Under the Sea.  You can find her in the shop with her sister, Flowers Under the Sea.

She was colored with Copic markers and I used the Silhouette to cut her out.  I kept the background pretty tone on tone to make it look like she was under water.

You still have time to enter our challenge.  The theme this month is to use flowers and this image is perfect for the challenge!  You have to use a Sami Stamps image to enter, but you can usually find a freebie in the shop.

If you are on Facebook, pop in to the Sami Stamps group and share your creations with us.  We would love to see them!

Fun Friday with Grandma Bonnie! It's a Beauty!

My intention was to create a Mother's Day card today.

Well, once i colored up Sami Stamps image, Rose Beauty.

I found that my plan had to change.

This image called "Rose Beauty" reminds me of "Beauty" from the Beauty and the Beast.  

Simply because i decided to add yellow.  

What do you think, isn't she gorgeous?

She would still make a lovely Mother's Day card!

"Hello my name is Diane Louise and I am delighted to be invited to be a guest designer for May’s Showcase posting here at Sami Stamps. 

I would like to say thank you very much to Sami for giving me this beautiful mermaid digital stamp for me to use.  I really enjoyed making my card and joining Sami’s design team.

Here’s a little bit about me – I live in the North West of England with my lovely Hubby and 2 fabulous grown up children, along with our beautiful big bundle of gorgeousness, Mutley, our black Labrador dog, who brings so much fun to our household.  

I have been paper crafting since 1998 when a friend introduced me to the world of decoupage; I fell in love with card making and very quickly became addicted to my hobby... The best thing though was opening my Blog called ‘Diane Louise's Favourite Cards & Gifts’ and finding Blogland and challenge blogs, which inspired me to try new techniques and styles of cards. I have made so many lovely crafty friends along the way. "
