Happy Birthday Jenee Todd!

Happy Happy Happy Birthday to one of my very own Design Team Members, Jenne!

Jenee Todd and her husband of husband of 47 years share a home with 3 canines and 2 felines on 5 acres just outside of Rome, GA. They have three children (all grown,) and 4 wonderful grandkids (19, 18, 15, 9.)

She has crafted since she was a child, trying her hand at most all mediums from crocheting to macrame, panting and decoupage. Jenee was introduced to scrap booking and card making shortly after her oldest son was born, and they've been her crafts of choice ever since. Jenee's style is simple, she prefers the coloring part to the card making part.

Jenee is positive and sweet and for that reason I love having her on the Design Team, let alone all the wonderful talent she brings to the group! The layouts to Jenee's projects are always beautiful. They are usually simple, but with well placed embellishments and with papers that compliment each other perfectly. She always uses carefully colored images and the way she uses her highlights make her coloring pop just right! Thank you Jenee for all the beautiful work you have given Sami Stamps!

Happy Birthday Emily Lauritzen!

Happy Birthday to Sami Stamps DT Member Emily Lauritzen!

Emily started crafting in the 7th grade with her step mom and just never stopped! Making cards is her passion and is what she does all day long, and loves it! She is always looking for new techniques or the latest materials and seeing if there is a way she can make them herself. Emily says she doesn't have a specific style and just tries to roll with whatever inspiration comes her way.

I don't know about you but I absolutely ADORE Emily's style. When looking through entries for potential Sami Stamps DT members I knew from the first moment I stopped by her blog that I wanted her to join the team! There is something about her sweet, simple projects that always appeal to me. Her cards are always clean, neat, colored well, and always adorable! Emily has a real talent and Sami Stamps sure is lucky to have her!

Emily has been with Sami Stamps for a while now and has created many lovely DT inspirations. Here are a "few" of my favorites!

Happy Birthday Grandma Bonnie!

Bonnie has also been a Sami Stamps Design Team Member since September 2013. Bonnie is a second generation SAHM, which she calls SAHGM. (”G” for grandma.) Bonnie has been watching her grandkids for 7 years. She is also going through a second generation of crafting and has a scrapbook that is almost 60 years old fill with all her favorite memories. Bonnie has been featured in Stamper’s Sampler. Card crafting isn’t the only thing she likes to do, if  Bonnie is not working on cards, you’d see her working at her sewing mechine, crocheting or trying any new craft technique out there...Bonnie loves a new challenge!

Bonnie's style is simply adorable! I'm always delighted with each new card she creates. She has a great talent for paring embellishments, papers, and colors to the image that makes the whole card flow together and it feels as if the embellishments and paper were made to go together. I'm so happy to have Bonnie as a part of the Sami Stamps team!

Happy Birthday to Sami Stamps DT Member: Bettina Leikvoll!

Bettina has been a Design Team Member here at Sami Stamps since September 2013.

Bettina started crafting late 2009 due to making baptism invitations and it was in 2010 that she really got hooked. Bettina thoroughly enjoys making cards, both folded and with lots of embellishments and she also loves making boxes and other little projects. Her favorite tools to use when it comes to crafting are dies and promarkers and she is hooked on embellishments as well. Other things Bettina enjoys doing is gardening, playing piano, singing, and playing with her kids.

I love Bettina's style! I am particularly drawn to the way Bettina colors her images. As an artist the thing that always draws my eye first when looking at a craft project is the way the image was colored. The coloring of an image can make or break a card for me. And I just love how Bettina colors images! Her blending and shading always impresses me.

Bettina cards are usually busy and uses a lot of embellishments. She has a real talent for arranging and designing cards where her embellishments flow and work together and never look cluttered. Bettina has been a real asset to the Sami Stamps Design Team and I sure appreciate her talent!
