Salty Seahorses!

Today I have three Salty Seahorses cards!

Fun Friday with Bonnie! Flip, Rotate, Shake and Sparkle!!

It is another FUN Friday!

Are you ready to Flip, Rotate, Shake and Sparkle??

Have you noticed that the image that Sami uses as her logo is her image called, Spring Branch?

Did you know that using digital images can allow you more creativity than a rubber stamp??

For this card I copy/pasted two images* into my editing program. (I actually used Word).

Then i flipped on horizontally.

Then i rotated both of the images to get an "arch" look.

(*I made the image into a PNG so that i could layer it on top of my digital paper) 

Next i hole punched inside of the center of the "arch". Then i hand cut the inside out.

Now for a bit of "shaking"

I just added sparkly tulle to the back of the image.

Got out my oval dies and made a "frame" for my shaker base.

I find using thick watercolor paper and gluing the layers together works well for my shaker base. 

Let's sparkle and add some sequins and glitter sequins!

Don't forget we have an awesome challenge going on using sequins!!

Under the Sea

Hello everyone!  Rae Ann here with a Fun Friday inspiration that will take you under the sea!  The new release this month was Salty Seahorses and I have one of the sweet stamps from the new release for you today.

I colored this sweet image using Copic markers then cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo.  The background paper is from a digital collection called Ocean Melody which is available on Snap Click Supply.

Here are some questions we asked Natalie!

What medium do you like to use? (Markers, Pencils etc.)

I love working with Copic markers but I am currently trying my hand with color pencils.  

 They are definitely different from markers

Where do you craft/make your cards/projects?

Currently I am crafting at my kitchen table, 

but I do have plans on changing my guest bedroom into my craft room.   

This has been my plans for the past 1 1/2!!

Who do you create/design cards for?

I do it for myself because I find it to be relaxing.   

But I do give them to family and friends.

Do you use metal dies or svgs?

I use metal dies but I do have a Scan N Cut and I love it.   

I have been watching a lot of videos and still trying to master it.

What do you enjoy most about cardmaking?

The thing I enjoy most is the expression on the person's face when they open my card.   

One of my younger brother's will not except a store bought card from me anymore!

Where do you buy most of your cardmaking supplies?

The majority of my supplies I buy from Amazon.com.
